Metering Standards and references:

SES offers advisory and consulting service to utility management and billing companies about the importance of the following metering standards and references.

The use of a reference standard is to compare it against meters and metering equipment of unknown errors in order to establish and correct these errors.

Certification:

Testing and Calibration

According to the metering standard, all electricity meters used for measuring power for utility management and billing must undergo calibration process to ensure that the overall accuracy of a meter is within the percentage error limits defined in NRS 057 and NRS049 and a certificate must be issued in compliance with the standards.

Laboratory calibration

offers confirmation, traceability, and certification. SES doesn’t own any calibration laboratory facilities, but we offer advice on the existing meter hardware life span and refer a client to an accredited laboratory for recalibration and certification.

Onsite calibration

offers verification and confirmation (SES is competent to carry out this service)
